Thanks for the update, Dan! Clever title! Love all the covers and can't wait to have all the figurines! Have a great week!

I can not wait to Avalanche :)

Please Dan Strong Guy as the next special!

All of these covers are totally amazing. Splendid work.

The new pics of Sif and Tigershark confirm that these 2 figs are likely to compete for Award as Best Figurine of extension 161-180.

Terrax is an awesome figure but I still think that the red part of his costume should have been in a shiny, metallic red.

JJJ is a nice fig, no doubt about that, but it leaves me completely unexcited. That's me, though. For fans of the character, it's a great rendition. Enjoy it.

max_0888 said...

Nice covers! I especially love the Terrax and Tigershark ones!

7th June? Why so late?
5 months between specials.
That's why You shouldn't wait so long with confirmation next specials.

JJJ legs are longer than Karembeu's wife :D

great looking covers.

Can't wait for JJJ and Mockingbird, Sif and Tiger Shark are all looking good too. Never thought much about Tiger Shark as a character but the figurine alone may be enough to worm his way into my affections!

Curveball character for the next extension? Human Fly! You know it makes sense.... :)

Gremlin said...

Loving most of the upcoming figures. I was never fussed about JJJ but I admit he deserves his place in the collection and I am sure Spidey fans are going to snap him up.
Arachne and Domino are nice simple sculpts and Mockingbird is a true beauty.
Tigershark I have to say I have never read about and , chin aside, he looks good.
Avalanche was a character I really had misgivings about being confirmed (and I am a huge x-fan). But his sculpt has won me over, it's simple but the pose is good and the metallic paint makes him eyecatching.
Nico I am looking forward too. I think it's important to get some newer creations in and she looks like a great figure.

Hopefully we can get one or two newer characters in this time too. I would like to see Jewel, The Hood, Fantomex or Rocket Raccon (I know he is a 70's creation but really he only became relevant this decade).

It's a shame we will only be getting 4 specials this year but I have to say my wallet did let out a sigh of relief.

vicnuts said...

I am really stoked about this line-up as it may be one of the best we've seen in a long while. I even like the Avalanche & Nico figures considering they're two characters I could care less about. And yes, all the covers look awesome as well. Find the Arachne sculpt a bit on the boring side but that's typical of most of EM's female sculpts since spider-woman. Don't like the Terrax sculpt at all. No "Oomph" to it whatsoever. Looks like an 80's He-man figure, not the terror depicted on the magazines.

Please ignore the cries for a strong guy special. With the many characters that deserve attention and have been missed, this is one character that can certainly wait. Where's my Hyperion for example??

Robert said...

Terrax looking impressive, and so does Tigershark. Also looking forward to seeing Mockingbird on my shelf.

Hate the "Sif" and won't be picking it up. Huge disappointment as the Asgardians are my main wants now. It's an okay sculpt, it just isn't Sif.

bethrezen said...

"Curveball character for the next extension? Human Fly! You know it makes sense.... :)"

Curveball? hmmm Mary Jane is good idea. I think that would sell well.

Paul said...

great covers, I'm lovin Sif big time and Mockingbird and Domino and Nico. Can't wait to add all these figs to my collection. I wish Avalanche had the "A" on his chest plate though. Just when you think this collection has nothing new to offer......BAM and the excitment starts all over again.

Love the blogs each week Dan, keep up the fantastic work.

Aaaand, ditto.

J Jonah Jameson looks amazing. I may buy multiple.

Curveball?

The Recorder or the Puffball Collective.

I'll second Human Fly! Fun comic when I was a little kid. Could be a good door opener for a US-1 special lol. If EM can put out this Nico figurine, they can do Human Fly. And Rom Space Knight. No kidding.

By the way, what are the possibilities for getting the Micronauts? Definitely a popular Marvel title in it's day.

Just want to reiterate how much I'm loving Tiger-shark. Perfect combination of sculpt and pose. This is an example of why the Spider-man 2099 fails. Spidey is a technically brilliant sculpt, but the pose is feminine and lackluster. It's a pose best suited for the Arachne figurine.

Osvaldoeaf said...

If I'm not wrong, I remember reading somewhere here on the blog or on the forum tha Rom Space Knight, along with Conan and Red Sonja, are not eligible, for some reason regarding their copyrights! Am I right? I'd like to have at least Conan!

max_0888 said...

I agree with Grem about newer characters. It's fun to have one or two per extansion. It keeps the extansions varies and exciting.

One modern and one golden age would be great.

And I really agree about Jewel (AKA Jessica Jones) Her look is simple yet stunning. Would love to have her standing next to Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Mrs Marvel. A simple sculpt like her could leave a spot for a bulkier character like Beta or Hela were.

As for Golden age, well I know she is not technically a golden age, since she was invented in 1976, but I think it would be nice to have Spitfire next to Union Jack.

Anyway, just saying it's nice to have one character like Wiccan or Nico per extansion. Especially since both turned out so great.

Ugh and just read the last Invincible Iron man and I have to say how ugly is the new costume for Whirlwind. Do they always have to update everything? Whirlwind's original look was so great...jeez

Let's just hope Whirlwind will be in the next extansion in his awesome classic look

SinisterVenom said...

I'll echo the call out for Whirlwind in the next extension from Max! He's one of my most wanted characters, along with Baron Mordo, Silver Samurai and Maximus the Mad among others.
Loving the new covers EM, Tigershark is probably my favourite there, closely followed by Nico and Terrax.
I did happen to notice however that on Sif's cover, there is no stamp to say she is hand painted and cast in lead. Does this mean that Sif is going to be made from resin?

Thanks for the update. All look good, can't wait for TERRAX shame we are only getting 4 specials this year.

I would like Whirlwind In the next extension.

mgf said...

Another vote for Whirlwind here, but in his classic wingnut headpiece, and not the bland new look. A nice metallic green finish on the classic version would help to make an outstanding figure.

Although the new look Whirlwind is pretty awful, when you discover the new Living Laser, the new Blizzard and that the Melter now appears to be eight years old he seems to have got off quite lightly.

AVENGERS -87 said...

Great pictures and Covers. I buy Avalanche , Mockingbird , Domino and Lady Sif.
For the next extension , no redo please .

I propose :
Sunspot
Selene
Silver Samurai
Sage
Daken
Mantis
Grey Gargoyle
Whirlwind
Thunderball
Patriot
Namora
Fandral
Maximus
Jackal
White Tiger
Baron Mordo
Brother Voodoo
Hyperion
Starhawk
Nova (Franckye Raye)

Thor8 said...

And still another vote for Whirlwind along with the other three villains mgf mentioned(but all in classic uniforms please).

Like all the covers. Sif is my least favorite, and Terrax is my favorite. I'll most likely be taking off the shoulder pads from my Sif figurine once I get it,I never really liked them and they add nothing to her look(IMO).

Glad to see 11 new members have enrolled since I last looked at the membership list. Would like to read some comments on from those whom have never posted here and hear from some of the old guard whom have disappeared.

As I said previously Dan,I enjoyed the covers and figurine pics, but I sure would like to hear some really good news soon about the continuation of this collection.

EM better make a figurine of The Warriors Three and The Destroyer before this collection is over, even if they only make one of each and send it to me personally.

max_0888 said...

Yeah I agree mgf, as much as I enjoy Matt Fraction's Iron man, the new design by Larroca are awful imo.

Living Laser, Blizzard and Whirlwind are 3 villains I would love to have. All three are much much deserving and needs to be on my Avengers villain display.

Blizzard would be very simple yet effective fig. Bright blue. He could be awesome sliding on a bit of ice...but maybe it would be too much. They did it with Cannonball's blast effect, why not Blizzard? ;)

Whirlwind, would you prefer him standing, or his legs in a whirl? It could be tricky to do. But the bowen mini bust did it.

It's hard to choose only about two or three avengers villains in an extansion. Last time we got Moonstone and Constrictor. Who will it be this time? Count Nefaria and Grey Gargoyle? Living Laser and Whirlwind? or Blizzard and Thunderball?

tinodragon14 said...

Thanks for the update Dan. Hope you are doing well.

Love TERRAX'S cover in color. Well done guys.
Love the figure but agree the red should have been a more metallic red. Disappointed I have to wait until June for him. I was hoping he would be out in April.

I must say TIGERSHARK is my favorite of the other covers shown. He looks quite awesome.

Glad to see WHIRLWIND mentioned by so many as I have been asking for him for a while. I have the Bowen bust of him in his classic green helmut & costume. And no wristblades as that was not part of his classic look & the original Gladiator has those already. I agree his helmut should have a metallic green look.

Also agree about BLIZZARD, THE LIVING LASER, THE MELTER & THE GREY GARGOYLE as I have pushed for inclusion of each of these classic villains.

That cannot be the original MELTER mentioned above by mgf as he was foolishly killed off/murdered in the Scourge storyline.

Thor8 said...

Max_888: I am in complete agreement with you about the fact that there are quite a few Avengers foes to be done and added to this collection. Some of them are...

Whirlwind
Living Laser
Count Nefaria
The Collector
Graviton
Melter
Space Phantom
Zodiac Members
Immortus
Arkon

There are others that have fought the team at one time or another but that they are more one member's foe rather than the team's,such as...

Grey Gargoyle ... Thor
Man-Ape ... Black Panther
Attuma ... Sub-Mariner
Blizzard ... Iron Man

...but nevertheless they are needed also.

Would also love to see members of the following teams in the next extension....

Zodiac
Squadron Supreme
Guardian Of The Galaxy (original)
Soviet Super Soldiers
Rangers
Invaders (GA)
Liberty Legion (GA)

Thor8 said...

Max_888; I know your question was directed to mgf,but I'd like to state that I would rather have a full body Whirlwind than his bottom torso in a whirl.

max_0888 said...

hehe it was a question directed to everyone actually ;)

John said...

I don't think Texas Twister could be made without a tornado or he'd look like a generic cowboy. Two tornados in the collection somehow seems too much. Whirlwind should be made without the tornado, imo.

Gremlin said...

I have to echo everyone's love of Avenger villains. We could easily have 2-3 in the extension.

As many of you have pointed out Whirlwind seems to be top of the pile. I think he would look quite good with the swirling wind effect around him. We have a presedent for displaying these types of powers with Hydroman and Sandman.

After him I would personally like to see the Hood. He has been the breakout Avenger villain this decade and although I am sure some of you don't like his look I do and think it would work quite well given the lead treatment.

Count Nefaria has been making waves in the MU again in the Moon Knight title. He is one of those villains who can fight a team to a standstill. It would be cool to get him in too.

Then looking to the enemies of the individual Avenger members it seems that Crossbones is a big contender. He is one of the main Cap villains and his recent appearences on the Thunderbolts and then the Fearless mini-series have kept him in the spotlight.

Grey Gargoyle also seems popular for the Thor side. Soemone said he was on the shortlist last time/ Hopefully he can get through this extension. Plus his part in the Fear Itself crossover must have certainly helped his chances.

Attuma. This one is difficult because to me he is verging on the special size. But he would be a small special. So maybe he could be this extensions bigger character like Hela was last time. He is bulky but I just don't see him bulky enough like Ronan or Thanos.

max_0888 said...

Don't forget about Madame Masque. To me she is one my fave villain who hasn't be made yet. It was great to see her again in the last issue of Moon Knight.

John said...

I was about to second other people's opinions but there's too many to support! We need at least 100 more characters!

And then its like, I have 40 characters I reeeally want to see. If Whirlwind gets in, one of them doesn't... but Whirlwind definitely deserves it as much as Star-Lord, Brother Voodoo, Rocket, Air-Walker, Jackal, we just need 100 more characters...

I do want to chime in for one that doesn't get mentioned as much, but if there were ever a spotlight villain recently that the casual buyer knows about, yet hasn't been made yet, its The Hood. For all the recent high-profile stories the guy's been in for the last few years (under Bendis... a Bendis favorite... meaning comic book readers HAVE to know him...) his time really should be, um, as soon as possible.

And with Crossbones connections with the death of Captain America, Thunderbolts membership, Fear Itself tie-ins... this is his ideal time too.

jimbob said...

The Hood
Crossbones
Whirlwind
Attuma

The villains could be the next extension strongest category.

I'm a little concerned that there has been no news of an extension... While I appreciate it will be a while before all the currently announced figurines are actually released... I'm impatient to learn whither some of my 'must haves' will make it into reality....

To be honest there's only about 6 figurines yet to come that I really want but if I know there's gonna be more I'm happy to support the collection by buying some of my lesser favourites .... does that make sense and does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Ps. Sage, Mantis, Marrina, Vindicator, Firebird, Nebula, Madame Masque, The Hood, Starfox, Selene, Magma, Gargoyle,

Alex Summers   said...

I too appreciate the new update Dan, covers and figurines look awsome. But, like others, I too am looking forward to news of a new extension.
I'm specially looking forward to hear about my 4 S's, which is how I'm now referring to my must have x-characters: Silver Samurai, Sage, Sunspot and Selene.
This time, if you read all the comments, there is more agreement about whicih characters should make it in this time, along with the polls results.

Kal Brindle said...

Great update Dan and great looking covers! Thanks for all you do.

I gotta tell you guys I am loving all the love for Grey Gargoyle, Count Nefaria, Whirlwind, Texas Twister, Graviton, Firebird, Mantis, Arkon, Man-Ape, Hyperion and Marrina - all of these are on my wish lists.

As for the upcoming figs, not a dud in the bunch and I am buying them all! Really pleased with Tigershark, Mockingbird and JJJ.

Hopefully we'll see Arcade sneak into the next extension alongside Baron Mordo, Skurge the Executionar as a special and a cowboy or two.

tinodragon14 said...

I'm not sure if having WHIRLWIND'S lower half spinning would work. I remember a drawing of him when it is first revealed that Janet van Dyne aka the Wasp's chauffeur is really WHIRLWIND. He changes from his chauffeur outfit to his WHIRLWIND costume & that stance would make a great figure.

Osvaldoeaf said...

I'm anxious about a new extension too, specially considering the apparent demise of the DC collection!

karnak37 said...

Thanks Dan for sharing the images of the figs and mags. Really can't wait to get all of them! Especially Tigershark, he was my biggest want.
I also hope Whirlwind will make in, if we get another extension. And i really like his classic costume, just like the Bowen mini bust with metallic green paint.

SIX HOURS! Damn you Megabloks, a whole day tae build a Halo ship fur the boys birthday. And I bolloxed it up, Never EVER again.
I would love to see all the old school Avengers villains mentioned, speaking of fashion disasters I put an Avengers cartoon on YouTube , aye Caramba!!, we got off lucky .every character had the most disgusting makeover you could imagine . I'm guessing it was from the 90's . But! The episode featured Moonstone in her old helmeted guise and she looked far more interesting than the generic jugs o plenty we got.
Megabloks NEVER A GAIN

Awesome to finally see so many adding to the cries for a Count Nefaria. Ive been hoping fir him for some time. The problem with the series is its sort of "be careful what you wish for". You could wind up with another piss poor Guardian or Adam Warlock type debacle.

I was also hoping for the Moonstone of old, but it seems the "classic" figure line leans toward newer re-designs. This, of course, could be because of Marvels 2 cents.

As usual I am awaiting Moses Magnum, Vanguard & Darkstar (contest of the champions versions), Rom, and Hyperion. Also would love a Mimic to go with my Blink figuring (using his colossus powers).

EM -

Week after week after week, there are dozens of fan-boyz on this blog getting excited about their ideas for the next extension.

Issue 200 is just over one year away. You have the sale data, you know the emotions and passion of fandom united.

I think it's getting time to put us out of our misery, one way or another. Ideally before Easter. Please...?

BobDiamond said...

I was thinking that it was time for another off-the-wall and totally irreverent List-style Game...the premise is- it's your birthday, and EM decide to make JUST for you your Ultimate Sub-Set of 20 Figs.
The only stipulation is that it has to have a particular theme...just saying 'Mutants' isn't enough
example (hint, hint for Robert)- 'Starlin-era Warlock/ Cap Marvel Characters'.
Re-dos are allowed btw.

After re-reading my entire Master of Kung-Fu series recently, this would be my 'Deadly Hands of Kung-Fu Ultimate Dream Sub-Set'! (to keep Shang and Ironfist company..)

1. Fu Manchu (or under his knew name for copy-right reasons)
2. Blackjack Tarr
3. Clive Reston
4. Leiku Wu
5. Sir Dennis Nayland-Smith
6. Bob Diamond (obviously!)
7. Abe Brown
8. Lin Sun
9. Lotus Shinchuko
10. White Tiger (Hector)
11.Misty Knight
12. Colleen Wing
13. Lei Kung-The Thunderer
14. Midnight
15. Cat
16. Shockwave
17. Razor-Fist
18. Zaran the Weapons-Master
19. Steel Serpent
20. Dark Angel

In reality there's only about 2 or 3 there that have a hope of being made- but like I said ,it's a 'dream' collection.
What's yours guys?

I want more extensions! Having seen the overall outstanding quality of the figurines in extension 181-200, I predict that the CMFC will see a huge surge in sales. When awesome figurines like Firelord, Werewolf by Night, Gamora and Wiccan appear in stores, I predict the CMFC will experience a sort of rebirth, sending a new wave of excitation across Marvel fandom worldwide. I predict more and more people will go 'Wow! This collection is awesome' and they will become passionate collectors.

I'm sure EM can already do some business forecast based on sales of extension 161-180 but, if they have any doubts, I think they should really give extension 181-200 a chance to prove that the CMFC is and continues to be a commercial success. Hopefully, thanks to the splendid sculpts in 181-200, the CMFC will become a phenomenon on the massive scale that it deserves.

There are really so many amazing characters left to cover. We could have at least another 6 extensions and the CMFC would still be as awesome and exciting as ever.

I invite you to visit the
A-Z VIRTUAL CMFC GALLERY
to refresh your sense of wonder and get an adrenaline rush just looking at the amazing characters we could get with more extensions.
Long live the CMFC.

Nova and Grandmaster aren't two of my favorites, they're just extremely worthy. I guess as a birthday wishlist I should swap them out. ...Robert named some folk I hadn't thought of.

For one, IS High Evolutionary a Cosmic character. He was in Annihilation, but has he always been the space-fairing type? I just assumed he was a mostly Earth based, Avengers villain. But swap Grandmaster for him.

And Pip the Troll is almost on a Nova level. He's necessary to get all the main players of a certain set, but not one of my personal "must-haves." ...you know, between the two, Nova and Pip, I have no idea... Thanks a lot, Robert, for making this difficult. :D

3) WHIRLWIND - AVENGER VILLAIN, MEMBER OF THE MASTERS OF EVIL
4) MANTIS - MEMBER OF THE AVENGERS
5) MARRINA - ALPHA FLIGHT MEMBER, HONORARY AVENGER, MARRIED SUB-MARINER, SHE IS OF THE ALIEN SPECIES PLODEX
6) MOLTEN MAN - LAST OF THE CLASSIC SPIDEY VILLAINS
7) SUNSPOT - ORIGINAL MEMBER OF THE NEW MUTANTS
8) DUST - A NEW X-MAN MEMBER, FIRST MUSLIM FEMALE HERO
9) FANDRAL - ASGARDIAN, MEMBER OF WARRIORS THREE
10) HOGUN - ASGARDIAN, MEMBER OF WARRIORS THREE
11) BARON MORDO - MAIN OPPONENT TO DR. STRANGE
12) BLIZZARD - MARVEL'S OWN COLD CRIMINAL
13) THE HIGH EVOLUTIONARY - VILLAIN & HERO, MASTER OF GENETICS
14) STILT-MAN - CLASSIC DD FOE
15) MASTERMIND - LAST OF THE ORIGINAL BROTHERHOOD TO BE DONE
16) TOMBSTONE OR THE JACKAL - SPIDEY VILLAINS
17) BLASTAAR, THE LIVING BOMB BURST - CLASSIC FF FOE, BEING FROM THE NEGATIVE ZONE
18) YONDU - ORIGINAL MEMBER OF THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
19) SIMON GARTH, THE ZOMBIE - SUPERNATURAL
20) CORSAIR - HEAD OF THE STARJAMMERS, FATHER OF CYCLOPS & HAVOC

I HAVE TRIED TO BALANCE THIS TWENTY BETWEEN HEROES & VILLAINS WITH 10 HEROES & 10 VILLAINS. THOSE THAT HAVE READ MY BLOGS KNOW I WOULD LOVE ALL VILLAINS AS THERE ARE STILL MORE CLASSIC VILLAINS THEN HEROES.

WHY AIR-WALKER INSTEAD OF NOVA? BECAUSE WE JUST HAD FIRELORD & NOVA IS JUST A FEMALE FIRELORD. AIR-WALKER IS THE SECOND HERALD GALACTUS PICKED. HE IS THE LAST OF THE FOUR ORIGINAL ELEMENT BASED HERALDS OF GALACTUS.

THERE ARE FOUR X-RELATED CHARACTERS. I PICKED ONE OF THE ORIGINAL NEW MUTANTS & A NEWER FEMALE HERO.

WHY TWO SPIDEY VILLAINS? BECAUSE SPIDEY STILL HAS A BUNCH OF BAD GUYS LEFT. I PICKED A CLASSIC VILLAIN & A MORE RECENT BADDIE THOUGH I PREFER TOMBSTONE I KNOW JACKAL IS JUST AS WANTED BY OTHERS.

I PICKED WHIRLWIND AS A FAVORITE OF MINE BUT I AM AWARE THERE ARE STILL MANY GREAT AVENGER VILLAINS LIKE GREY GARGOYLE, LIVING LASER, MELTER, GRAVITON, THE WRECKING CREW, ETC.

I PICKED MASTERMIND OVER SILVER SAMURAI THOUGH I REALIZE SILVER WILL MAKE A MORE IMPRESSIVE FIGURE. MASTERMIND IS HOWEVER THE LAST OF THE ORIGINAL BROTHERHOOD LEFT TO DO. SILVER WILL NO DOUBT BE PICKED ANYWAY BY THE VOTERS ON THE FORUM.

I THINK THE WARRIORS THREE HAVE BEEN OVERLOOKED LONG ENOUGH AS WELL AS WHIRLWIND, ATTUMA, BARON MORDO & THE HIGH EVOLUTIONARY. ALL WILL MAKE GREAT FIGURES.

WHY THE ZOMBIE OVER SAY BROTHER VOODOO OR THE LIVING MUMMY? BECAUSE ZOMBIES ARE BIG RIGHT NOW & HE MAY SELL BETTER.

STILT-MAN & MR. FEAR ARE DD'S LAST BIG CLASSIC FOES BUT I THINK STILT-MAN WILL MAKE AN AWESOME FIGURE. I LOVE HIS BLUE ARMOR.

I PICKED BLASTAAR OVER DIABLO, RED GHOST, MOLECULE MAN BUT IF HE IS TOO BIG TO BE A REGULAR THEN DIABLO.

I HAVE BEEN PUSHING FOR THE FIRST VILLAIN TWO PACK WITH THE COBRA & MR. HYDE. ALSO THE MAD THINKER & HIS AWESOME ANDROID.

TITANIUM MAN, SKURGE THE EXECUTIONER, FRANKENSTEIN'S MONSTER, ARCHANGEL WILL ALL MAKE GREAT SPECIALS.

DRAGONMAN, THE LIVING MONOLITH, LOCKJAW, THE SUPER ADAPTOID IN ALL HIS AVENGERS COPIED GLORY WILL MAKE AWESOME MEGA SPECIALS.

I WOULD JUST AS SOON REPLACE THE ZOMBIE & CORSAIR WITH NIGHTMARE & STARHAWK OR DARKHAWK BUT I WAS TRYING FOR SOME BALANCE.

John, the High Evolutionary is definitely a cosmic character and not really a "villain" as such. More a misguided super-powerful force who tried to create a new race of peaceful beings and occasionally interferes in other matters. He's sometimes on Earth, but more commonly associated with Counter Earth. There's one old '70s FF story where he enlarges himself and goes toe-to-toe with Galactus. If that's not cosmic...

I forgot a Kree solider (in the original Captain Marvel uniform). And Nova and Air Walker are a great shout, if I can't have anything from Starlin's Dreadstar comics. Hard to keep to 20 cosmics!

Bought the new Conan DVD fae Tesco fer only five Scottish pound. In the extras there is a rather good biography of REH, lots of classic marvel covers and contributors include Roy Thomas. Sadly there are no X-Men or big wobots.
Top ten characters they cabbages at Marvel no longer have the rights to .
Conan
Ted Sonja
Solomon Kane
King Kull
Doc Savage
Rom Pace Knight
Godzilla
Belit
Urko ( planet of the apes)
Micronauts

Very happy to see Immortus mentioned. We need to remember that he's not a variant of Kang. Initially, he was a time-travel incarnation of Kang, but then they became separated and even fought each other. Immortus is a great villain, hugely important in Marvel history and would make a an awesome figurine.
Immortus all the way for me!
Yeah.

How does Marvel lose Rom??? lol
Unless the toy preceded the comic therefore it was never theirs. Strange....

Just give me my Hyperion and Vangard already, sculptured by the artist who did the Mephisto figurine :-)

Vicnuts,

Alas, the toy did precede the comics just as the micronauts did. The comics, however, far outlasted the toy. THe Spaceknight toy was gone the year it debutted, whereas the comics ran for a loooong time. I really wish Marvel would just just spend the bread and buy the right to Micronuats, Rom, and Shogun Warriors.

Ted, I loved your list of characters Marvel no longer have the rights to, although they got hold of the rights to my beloved Miracleman/Marvelman about three years ago and have done precisely not much with him since.

Conan, Doc Savage and, although you didn't mention him and he's been closer associated to DC And others down the years, The Shadow, should all be marquee characters for the big companies. It's quite remarkable none of them have ongoing series now somewhere in the several hundreds.
