ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE TEAM
Unfortunately we will not be extending The Classic Marvel Figurine Collection past issue 200.
It was a shock to us on the editorial team, as we were quietly confident of another 20 issues. Sadly, following recent increases in production costs we came to the inescapable conclusion that a further extension just wouldn’t be sufficiently profitable.
That said, there are some truly amazing figurines still to come and I’ll be previewing them all right here in the months ahead. Rest assured, there will be no reduction in the quality, effort and love we put into every issue of this Collection. I hope you'll stick with us for the journey.
Thanks to everyone for your support, comments and enthusiasm. Excelsior, true believers!

I went to see Avengers Assemble today too...only it wasn't my first time, more like my fourth time! I promised my little bro I'd take him to see it so it was another excuse for me to watch it hehe!
And I'm happy to say, like Captain America, it never gets old! :D

rob: I think it would be better if they did the Fantastic Four. The three you mentioned plus Steve Dikto.
Considering no one has taken a photograph or seen him in public since the 1960s, how will the sculpter know what he looks like Thor? :)
I have to say I have no interest in and figures based on the comic creators. I understand how important they are to the genre but I want superheroes....not men in suits. The only reason I think JJJ should be in is because he is a huge protagonist to SpiderMan and he is also quite recognisible.
It's been mentioned before but if we got just one more issue I think the MU's version of Death would be cool. She/It has had a tangled relationship with many MU denizens such as Thanos, Deadpool and Captain Marvel.
But ultimately I want another 20 figures to finish off some of my teams.
I am sending my letter off today. I have kept it very respectfula nd I have also hand-written it. I just hope that the bosses take the time to read them and see how passonate we are about this collection and how unique it is.
We already have Steve Ditko in this collection , it is common knowledge that Kirby based the Puppet Master on Steves ugly coupon.

Stan Lee should be a wee thankyou exclusively for Subscribers.We couldn't agree on the colour of shite let alone a final character, anyone not wanting oor Stan can pop him on Flea-bay and buy loads of humbug and soor grapes wi the money

Glad robert got across better what I was trying to ramble about and Blake sort of understood it.
And finally, I am not interested in figurines of comic creators. But if people want Stan Lee so much, there was a San Diego Comic Con Marvel Legend action figure of him.
It would be nice as a final gesture, an exclamation to the series, while JJJ is good to end on, I think it would be great to see some sort of boxset of characters, no more than 4. Whether they are themed, like jim lee xmen, 1st appearance Avengers, or every 4 characters are voted for by fans with no restrictions. But its little more than a dream. And a public vote wont probably result in really obscure characters we havent seen yet that would be an anti climatic end the collection. Nevermind.
Although I didn't list any characters in my letter (I don't think the bigwigs could tell their Starlord from their Darkstar) I need to vent my list somewhere.
Starlord - the modern GOTG are so close to having a display. He was the leader and the standout character from the recent cosmic surge.
Sunspot - Not my favourite NM but out of the guys left he has the most appearences hands down and was part of the core grouping. Magma and Warlock are tariling but I love their looks much more.
Fixer - Thunderbolts original team. Atlas is needed too so if we get an extension we need him too.
Mantis - In her Avenger look. With Swordsman in it's logical she should be too.
US Agent - West Coast Avengers last major player. We have BRB for Thor and War Machine for Iron Man. Cap needs his doppleganger.
Meggan - Excaliburs final original member. Very pretty character and would make a beautiful sculpt.
And then a few personal wants...
Darkstar - simple look but would represent the Soviet Super Soldiers better than Crimson Dynamo.
Justice/Speedball - either or both these two would do. My preference would be to Justice though.
Exodus - a striking look. This guy rocks a cape like no-one else.
Robert; There is a picture of Steve Dikto in The Vault. No not the max security prison,but rather the book published by Marvel that contains loads of info and goodies from Marvel's history.This is a very rare gem since Dikto did not like to have his picture taken.
Gremln and LAWay: I was just kidding about the Steve Dtko figurine. I know they will not be made.
I know we have a .00008% chance of getting another extension,but I still have a tiny hope that we will get news of one extra extension being approved by popular demand,so keep those letters going to EM's big boys.

Clea, Hulkling, Justice, Lockjaw, Mantis, Marrina, Thunderstrike, Sersi, Shroud, Thundra, US Agent & White Tiger (Hector).
Who else I'd really like to see...Texas Twister, Karma, Captain Universe, Squirrel Girl, Two Gun Kid, Blonde Phantom, Whizzer, Red Wolf, Vindicator, Warlock.

Impossible that the collection stops like that, it it is laughed the collectors because he nearly some more characters and teams to complete!
DEVASTATING NEWS. EAGLEMOSS NEEDS TO GO OUT ON A HIGH. NOT THE CONSTRICTOR!!! SO,SO MANY OTHER WORTHY CHARACTERS TO STILL BE OFFERED. WITH THE ADDED INTEREST OF RECENT MARVEL MOVIE SUCCESS, THIS IS A BAD MOVE FOLKS. I BUY A LOT OF CUSTOM FIGURINES ONLINE AND SEE THIS AS MY ONLY HOPE OF ADDING TO MY COLLECTION.
When the 1st iron man came out there was a special figure to go with the movie . Why didn't EM do any specials for the avengers movie wasted opportunity. Great collection I'm going to miss it and the DC collection too. Bye bye thanks
