Wiz-bang and the FF are gone...

Hi guys, welcome back to the Friday update.

This week I can announce one more characters in to the extension: The Wizard.

I know you guys are keen on modern characters and especially it would seem the Young Avengers, so I'm very tempted to confirm that a Young Avenger will make it in this extension. But before I do I'd like to know which one you guys prefer? Have a sound off in the comments section and if you're totally against their inclusion let me know why and maybe there place will go to someone else...

(You're not restricted to the members in image)

Next up is a figurine update, check out the paint stage of Typhoid Mary. The sculptor has done an amazing job on this figure and I'm truly impressed that he managed to get the fishnets looking so good. The pose is based on a classic Marvel handbook image and I think sums up the character perfectly.

Right, Dan thought it might be good to show you guys some of the ads we've been placing in Diamond's Preview Catalogue. For those of you that don't know what this is, it's a large catalogue that goes to all comic shops and allows retailers as well as costumers to see what's coming out and place an order. If you're a comic shop costumer the idea is you can get the shop to order you the product through the catalogue. This is the ideal way to order for American collectors.

The first image is our Fin Fang Foom ad that featured on the second page of Previews. The second is our calendar page from the Diamond retailers'calendar.

That's it from this update, have a good Bank Holiday Weekend.

I'll play your game DP. The characters I'll mention will be based on those that I have read about, and like you said, just because you dont like them doesnt mean they shouldnt be figurines.

Fave 10
1)Spider-Man
2)Wolverine
3)Iron Man
4)Captain Bucky America
5)Union Jack
6)Venom
7)Captain America
8)Sentry
9)Norman Osborne
10)Ms Marvel

Bottom 10
1)Cyclops
2)Professor X
3)Hulk
4)Thor
5)Jean Grey
6)Storm
7)Red Skull
8)Silver Surfer
9)Dr Strange
10)Loki

Actually, this was really hard and unfair to do. lol I dont really hate any of the characters that I read about, some are abit annoying, or lack personality, but I enjoy most of them for different reasons.

Like I said, these are characters I read about. I could have easily just picked 10 old characters.

DAN THE MAN:
Thanks for your comments. Like every blogger here, I'm a huge fan of the Eaglemoss CMFC and you eaglemossers.

A VOYAGE INTO THE MU
...AND A MATTER OF BALANCE
Indeed you need to continue to explore the Marvel Universe in all its variety, and I guess we fans want you to strike a good balance
between:
1) coverage of the most famous and loved characters; and 2) coverage of the less-known ones that are important for:
a) the greatness of the idea they represent; and b) the greatness of the design in terms of costume, gadgets and features.

And while you proceed with the above, I guess we fans also want you to strike a good balance bewteen:
3) completion of top/famous teams (hell yeah, I want all Avengers and New Mutants!); and 4) expansions into new emerging teams and new Marvel realities (hell yeah, I want to see Planet Hulk characters and new X-Men like Dust); and 5) representations of classic, unmissable areas of the MU (hell yeah, I want to see Squadron Supreme and Guardians of the Galaxy and Atlantideans like Attuma and as many Asgardians as possible)!

Not too much asking, is it? ;)

A QUICK MISSION RECAP:

1. coverage of famous characters
2. less known characters based on awe-inspiring concepts and design
3. completion of top/famous teams
4. expansions into new emerging teams and Marvel realities
5. coverage of unmissable, classic characters that are testament to the House Of The Idea.

And that's why I think that ideally Eaglemoss should launch new subsets of figurines so that the mission can be accomplished more quickly, eg. a Planet Hulk pack or a Warriors Three pack, etc

LAWay said...

An easier game:

Best & Worst 10 figurines in the collection.
(doesnt have to based on character, can be picked on sculpt, pose, paint etc)

Best 10
1)Galactus
2)Thanos
3)Colossus
4)Taskmaster
5)Venom
6)Sentinel
7)Hawkeye
8)Spiderman
9)Union Jack
10)Wolverine

Worst 10
1)Shang Chi
2)Destroyer
3)Ka-zar
4)Sandman
5)Machine Man
6)Sabertooth
7)Ikaris
8)Man-Wolf
9)Captain Britain
10)Juggernaut

I didnt include any females, as most of them are poor so I disregard them.

This list was just has hard to make as well.

LAWay said...

Instead of multipacks to complete teams etc, why cant we simply get a theme or a run of characters?

Have a Young avengers run, get all of them out the way.
Go into a Planet Hulk set, get them all out the way.

Include the odd character here and there, but now and then just blast through some teams and lines. Personally, I think we have seen the main Avengers. There are still some other characters I would like to see, but there were so many avengers, they can either be put between lines, or you could blast through them as each character is so diverse.

Whoa, Page 2!

USAgent over Swordsman for me. But then, I'd like quite a few others before him. If we were going for Avengers, I say Mantis (because I read GotG) or Stingray. Or someone from Avengers: The Initiative.

LAWay; speaking of the Initiative, I would not mind seeing the Scarlet Spider to represent MPV. He's an integral part of the overall Initiative storyline, and as a HUGE fan, I'd definitely buy one. Plus, casual buyers may pick him up because he looks like Spider-Man. Or Spider-Man fans may purchase due to the suits origins. My reason for accepting this alternate suit is because I love the character of MVP and this is his defining costume.

I agree with DP about the inclusion of JJJ, Jackal, or Tombstone. Let me add in though; Hammerhead, Molten Man, Madame Web, Boomerang, Jack O' Lantern, Mr. Negative and Kaine.

Secondaries; Puma, Rocket Racer, Swarm, Grizzly, Gibbon, Calypso, the Enforcers, Alistair Smythe, Spot, and Vermin.

Black Fox, Slyde, White Rabbit, Frog-Man, and Big Wheel (the driver, Jackson Weele) being favorites with no chance. :)

These are all legitimate wants for me, but you've got to keep in mind that I'm a really big Spider-Man fan. Heck, I'd love a Mendel Stromm figurine (in a lab coat, with the cyborg thing over his eye.) And I'd especially love (out of characters with no chance) Kangaroo II. Anyway, I tried to order those top two categories into ones with a good chance and ones with some chance (followed by no chance, but had to list.)

That's a good idea Deadpool, I'll list my favorite characters.

The characters I like are usually based on a combination of personality as well as super/mutant abilities.

1.) Storm
2.) Jean Grey
3.) Psylocke
4.) Stepford Cuckoos
5.) Emma Frost
6.) Shadow Cat
7.) Colossus
8.) Ms. Marvel
9.) Spider Man and Deadpool
10.) Polaris

Characters I dislike due to abilities I don't care for or just personalities I don't like.

1.) Magneto
2.) Joe Quesada*
3.) Hulk
4.) Wolverine
5.) Quentin Quire
6.) Sabertooth
7.) Havok
8.) Cyclops
9.) Bishop
10.) Professor Xavier

*Just for fun, and I didn't like what he did to Spiderman (One More Day), Wasp as well as Jean Grey. The guy must seriously has something against marriage.

It's odd because he's apparently happily married. lol

Wow, just tried to read all the comments here and there is a LOT to catch up on.

So...nine characters down...eleven left. Of those 11 EM still have 6 more going by what Rich said when this started. I am hoping for at least two cosmic characters to be named considering we didn't get many in last time. Vance Astro seems like a likely contender but I am hoping Gamora is high on EM's radar. Great history, fantastic look and she is currently riding high in the comics at the moment as a member of the modern GOTG.

After that lets have some Marvel Knights. White Tiger, Darkhawk and Brother Voodoo must be considered. The White Tiger magazine could detail all the various WT's and have the original as a sculpt. Darkhawk would be great as another New Warrior, plus his recent solo series bumped up his street cred. Lastly Brother Voodoo is big in the Avenger circles at the moment as Sorcerer Supreme, he would make a great addition.

Speaking of Avengers lets go for Photon/Pulsar. Her time is now, she led the team and has been popping up in various comics for the past 20+ years. Lets hear it for Nextwave!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no XMen villian yet and who better than Deathbird..eh eh!!!
Lets take a break from the Brotherhood guys and confirm the new Empress of the Sh'iar Empire. With a history going back to the 70's and links with Ms Marvel, XMen and more recently the general cosmic landscape this crazy lady MUST be confirmed. It would be a crime for a lesser Xmen villain to take her place.

I received the Crimson Dynamo, Enchantress(I already have an additional one), Mr Miracle and Zattana (I also have an additional).

Deadpool verdict of doom: -

After much anticipation Crimson Dynamo was a disappointment.
The Sculpt was excellent but the paint job was atrocious.
Most of the detail was obliterated by the thickest layer of acrylic paint I've ever witnessed on a figure.

I will be stripping this one back and repainting it.

Mr Miracle - Aboslutely superb.
Paint job was top notch and the sculpt was awesome.
I wish that this style of sculpt was used for the Vision.

My comments about Enchantress and Zatanna stand. They are both excellent.

Give the Crimson Dynamo team a good har slap.
The Sculptor has been severely let down by the painter.

Deadpool said...

Well my Mighty Mate ... I am a traditionalist when it comes to Dr Who.

Personally I would like to focus on the John Pertwee / Tom Baker era.

I do however approve of Tennant as a homage to the modern episodes.

I must admit that I agree with most of your lists especially the Thunder Cats.

Deadpool said...

Wooo hooo if your One what are the other Two like????

If I had a second list of favorites it would be very similar to yours.

Now turning my attention to best / worst sculpts:-

Top 10 best figures (plus a few): -

1. Taskmaster ... by a long way.
2. Namor
3. Loki
4. King Pin
5. Scarlet Witch
6. Movie Iron Man
7. Moon Knight
8. Rhino
9. Gambit - I hate the guy.
10. Machine Man
11. Enchantress
12. Jack of Hearts
13. Mole Man - yay

10 Worst figures

1. Carnage - Missed opportunity 1
2. Venom - Missed opportunity 2
3. Blackwidow - Where are her curves!!!!!!!!
4. Crystal - the mighty midget
5. Wang Shi - Master of dung poo
6. Fing Fang Fool - Out in April
7. Mandarin - he was Tangoed
8. Shadow cat. - stay in the shade
9. Man Wolf - aarghh what a horror
10. Black Cat - more like a moggy
11. Punisher - he has been punished
12. Ghost Rider - he didnt deserve that.
13. Phoenix - I wept when I saw how low Jeanie had fallen.

Hah ... you thought you could fool me "One of Three..."

I should have guessed earlier ... I must be getting sloppy in my old age.

Welcome to the blog in your newest guise :0)

I too think a Stepford Cukoo would be a great addition to the collection.

I would buy 3.

I would like them in that tartan kilt thingy with their hair blowing in the wind.

Deadpool said...

Coming back to the format of the Dr Who collection: -

I would prefer the following balance: -

A doctor
A sidekick
An ally
3 x Enemies.

First issue would be, reluctantly, Tennant as Dr Who.

Do not include Billie Piper in any way shape of form.

Dr Who should be a Chava free zone.

Deadpool said...

PS 14 and 15 on my list of poor figures would be : -

The Human Torch and Stretcho.
Invisible Woman looks like she has a gammy leg too.

LAWay said...

I too received my Enchantress and Crimson Dynamo today. Enchantress looks good, nice pose and paintjob, unusual for a female figure to look good. Crimson Dynamo, never been a fan of that design, but it looks ok, paint isnt that bad, but I would have preferred a metallic red paint.

One of the thickest sloppiest paintjobs I've received is Shocker. I love the character and sculpt, the the paint was so thick it looks like a warhammer model my 8 year old bro used to paint.

idea for eaglemoss for future extensions :

at present extensions are for 20 issues at a time.
and we get 2 figurines per month as a subscriber right ?
12 months in the year would total 24 issues wouldn't it ?

so why not do this over a year -

january = 2x regular issues
february = 2x regular + 1x special
march = 2x regular issues
april = 2x regular + 1x special
may = 2x regular issues
june = twin pack or multi pack
july = 2x regular issues
august = 2x regular + 1x special
september = 2x regular issues
october = 2 x regular + 1x special
november = 2 x regular issues
december = mega special

total =
20x regular issues
4x specials
1x twin/multi pack special
1x mega special

i think it would be an easier way to produce these issues and could make things more affordable for the collector.

what do you think ?

LAWay said...

@Madthinker
I dont think we neccessarily NEED some specials. If we are talking about being affordable, EM dont need to produce as many, certainly not guaranteeing a MEGA special every year, I dont think many figurines truly warrant the MEGA special treatment.

I would gladly except 2-4 packs to replace specials or MEGA specials if it meant completing teams and getting more great characters.

Dennis said...

Hi , Young Avengers !!!! , what is happening , how can you fill a magazine with history as there is none . Howard the Duck , small but has history

LAWay said...

Young Avengers have been around for a few years and had roles in the Civil War and the Secret Invasion didnt they?
They are also connected to other characters who have history.

I'll be honest, I dont think I have read a Howard the Duck comic, I am not sure how available they have been over the last couple of years, but he never popped up in any issues that I read. I have him in Marvel Legend form as they bungled him with the Silver Surfer, and now he resides in a 'bits' box as he is rubbish.

Deadpool said...

Law... you must have been very unlucky with Shocker.

My version has one of the best and most detailed Paint Jobs in the whole collection.

I would not be averse to Howard the Duck.

I would however prefer - Kate "Hawkeye" Bishop.

You don't have to go for the leader of a group - I prefer to go for the figures that will look the best - hence my choice of Hawkeye girlie.

One-of-Three said...

@Deadpool: As far as figures, I thought the Jean Grey figure had a nice pose and the hair was very well done, but the face was incredibly disappointing. It could have been my favorite figure easily if it weren't for the awful face, Jean looks like she has a fat neck.

The same goes with the Emma Frost figure, though the pose on that one wasn't all that impressive, but her face is even less flattering. Shadow Cat lands on a similar boat when it comes to her face as well.

It's nice to see we share an opinion! Especially on the Cuckoos, here's hoping they approve a figure. Dan The Man did say he would talk to Rich, I can't help but be curious as to how that went. =)

Also, who is "Hel"? I've seen you or someone else say the same thing to another person too before in the same context. To be honest, I started posting just for the purpose of recommending the Stepford Cuckoos as a figure, hence the name and avatar. lol Though now that I've read a few posts, it's interesting to see what characters other people like and want to see figures of too.

Hope I'm not disappointing you.

Robert said...

Deadpool is obviously Hel and he only accused One-of-Three of being Hel to throw us off the scent!

You're not getting sloppy in your old age, DP? Hel, you're getting sneaky and devious!! :)

Deadpool said...

A stepford cukoo could never disappoint.

Keep on posting... your opinions are most welcome.

Hmm... i sincerely hope Hel gives us her opinion on the wild accusations of late... maybe Robert has a confession to make.

The Hel debate will continue ....

PS check out the You Tube Eddy Izzard -LEGO DARTH VADER sketch... it's very amusing.

BobDiamond said...

Right then,
All- Time Favourites list.
By the way DP, some of us did this back in March! ( me , The Hood, Rob I think, and one or two others...)Anyway, here it is again:
1.Iron Fist
2.Black Knight
3.Nick Fury
4.Hawkeye
5.Adam Warlock
6.DareDevil
7.Shang-Chi
8.Cap. America
9.Sons of the Tiger (collectively)
10.Howard the Duck !

Now, this new list you came up with DP, this really makes ya think!
Top 10 'Worst' Characters.
I'm assuming that these guys would have to be important characters in their own right, and not a load of Z-listers, otherwise it would be too easy and meaningless. So, this is my list of 'important' characters that I think are either far too over-exposed, or just rather dull....
1.Sentry
2.Deadpool
3.Wolfsbane
4.Cannonball
5.Bishop
6.Cable
7.Nova
8.Shadow-Cat
9.Dark-Hawk
10.Spider-Woman (I prefer the other one for some reason-Arachne)
That last list was tough...
Bye for now,
BD

Deadpool said...

So Robert you mention Hel and Bob Diamond appears.

How convenient that they both started blogging at the same time.

Nudge Nudge wink wink.

Nice list though Bob except for the worst number 2.

PS I like all the Spider Woman variants.... bring them all on in the collection.

Now then, how about the same lists with respect to figures in the collection. Which ones are your top 10 and which ones are your bottom 10?

Deadpool said...

Moss Men!!!!

South park collection.

Make it a mini series of about 20 figurines.

With a few carboard cut out back drop buildings.

Deadpool said...

On the subject of Backdrops.

What are you doing about the idea Dan the Mossman and Richardo?

Back drops are a great idea by Me (ofcourse) and Robert.

Deadpool said...

Omega Special reloaded....

With issue 200 being a distinct possibility ... how about making that issue the OMEGA SPECIAL.

What do you guys think would be a good OMEGA SPECIAL?

My choice would be a multi-pack of the golden age Invaders.

Robert said...

Yeh, backdrops, whatever happened to that idea...? Quietly ignored because it was stupid? Shunned because of its utter brilliance?

Never one to stop uselessly banging on about something (classic Iron Man, anyone?), I would like to reiterate that I would definitely like to see backdrops showing the Baxter Building, Avengers Mansion (not that dumb tower), Asgard (pre-Siege wrecked condition, of course), etc. If they were reversible (i.e., images printed on both sides), you could cover the Avengers and Thor universe in one. Or an X-Men Danger Room and Xavier School. Or combine two "families" and have a NY skyline for Spidey and a Baxter Building for the FF. Maybe they could be gate-fold backdrops, which would allow for flexibility in how you display your figures?

Honestly, the great ideas that go to waste on here... :)

BobDiamond said...

I'm really sorry DP, about my number 2 choice!!!
It was only afterwards through reading my post, that I realised who I was writing to! The truth is, I don't 'hate' Deadpool, I just think he is extremely over-used at the moment, which is kind-of watering down a perfectly good character...
Please accept my humble apologies!!
BD

Robert said...

I now believe Deadpool is Bob and he "accidentally" included himself in "Bob's" list and then apologised to himself to throw us off the scent!

Now, if Hel posts, it will be a huge coincidence and prove my earlier theory that Deadpool is also Hel.

Gee, this multiple-identity stuff seems a lot of work, DP!

Deadpool said...

Secret Identities and multiple personalities, they are the stuff of legend.

Long may they continue.

Bob I agree .... too much of a good thing.

DP should slink back into the shadows for a while, become a bit more mysterious and Boba Fett like.

Would love to see more Eagley Moss fig collections but cannot see them running concurrently with this collection, As fans would probably have to cherry pick there fav characters between Darvel, DC and say Dr Who , 3 long running fig collections is a fare old financial commitment in these times.
BUT! a limited series may be perfect. A one year commitment of say 24 regular issues and 6 specials and viola 1 year later you have a complete collection, This would be perfect for a 2000 AD or indie comic collection.
Enuff with the multiple nom de plumes!! , A Capcom collection would make me a happy gay like a Doris Day :)

Miguel Angel Jiminez said...

Darvel ???
i'm pretty sure he was on Jerry Springer..

LAWay said...

Love the idea of backdrops. Simple pieces of printed cardboard, nothing more, thrown in with an occasional magazine.

Makes up for the cheaper produced magazines.

Also, what about a special? Marvel Swimsuit Edition like the Marvel Illustrated specials in the comics. I know alot of you are opposed to seeing characters already done...maybe this would change your minds? ;)

BobDiamond said...

You know that feeling when you join a conversation half-way through, and have no idea what's going on?... Well,I'd love to know what you're on about Hel!
...Anyway, I thought I'd share a few related newsy bits with you all...
Rob, and I think it was DP, mentioned that they were both big 'Dreadstar' fans quite a while ago. Did you know that Dynamite Comics are re-releasing the whole series starting with a Graphic Novel of all The Epic Magazine and original Graphic novel stories, before going onto the regular series?
Starlin fans, or just fans of amazing cosmic sagas, check this out!
The on-line comic site 'Comic Book Resources'(CBR) is an amazing site for this wonderful hobby of ours (comics that is). If you haven't tried it yet, then you should give it a go.
A regular feature is 'Comic Book Legends Revealed'. Up-dated most weeks, it has the most intriguing and interesting odd bits of info about our favourite past-time (no, not that DP...). it also has reviews on the latest comics, films etc. and blogs on catogories like Avengers, X-men, Spiderman etc.
Check it out, you wont be disappointed.
Good-night to you all..

EAGLEMOSS AND MADAME TUSSAUD?

Do you guys know that “Marvel Super Heroes 4D” is coming to London's Madame Tussaud this summer?

It's also a guerilla marketing opportunity for Eaglemoss. You could set up a stand, displaying some of the CMFC figurines and magazines, or at least advertising material and brochures about the collection.

“Marvel Super Heroes 4D” will bring to life some of the world’s best loved Super Heroes through a mix of 4D animation, interactive themed areas and realistic wax figures including Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man.
They will also reconstruct famous sets like the high-tech world of S.H.I.E.L.D

I can't wait to go. But I also hope that Eaglemoss will try to use it as an advertising platform.
My point is: the more successful the collection, the more the extensions for us fans who want to see all Marvel characters turned into figurines.

LAWay said...

I saw the Marvel 4D advertised with an artist working on the hulk sculpt, it looked ace.

the website says it will keep expanding the character line-up, so although I want to go right away, I may want to wait. They have a 5 year deal.

John said...

I really like the idea of limited collections only lasting a year or two. I again give my support to Thundercats and Street Fighter.

Though, please, if it is Street Fighter, don't just use ALL Street Fighter II characters. IV just added in some brilliant ones, and most of my personal favs come from III (Ibuki being my absolute favorite fighting game character.) ...but even if it were all just from II, I'd get them all...

One-of-Three said...

Chinese Spam, that's wonderful.

Anyway, I agree that a Street Fighter set would be nice, but I honestly am just going to focus on Marvel characters for a long while to build my collection.

I don't have a subscription to the classic marvel figures, since I just purchase the characters I really like. So far I own Storm, Jean Grey, Psylocke, Deadpool, Madrox, and Colossus.

I really need to up my collection. lol

Robert said...

Bob, domo arigato gozaimasu for the Dreadstar tip. Of course, I own every issue, although in the days before eBay and the internet it took years and years to hunt them all down. Dreadstar only really gets going when the regular series starts. Then it is superb. Definitely one the best series Marvel ever produced and the jewel in the Epic crown.

LAWay said...

Shocking revelation by One-of-Three. You only own 6 figurines out of the possible 123, and you are not satisfied and want to see the Stepford Cuckoos?

You talking crazy! I hope you buy many more figurines and then I will take your requests more seriously. :P
How come you own so little? Go into collection late, find the figurines hard to get ahold of, or just dont like them?

Also...Marvel Swimsuit Figurines? No one want them? I guess EM's track record with their females havent been great.

How many sculptors are working on the CMFC?

i'm getting fed up with all the multi persona's and accusations floating about but i have even been forced to join in.
this blog is losing the plot now and things like this makes us lose the topic at hand r.e : richard's updates.
we should only be discussing these topics , anything marvel related or things to do with other collections and ideas.
not lose the plot and play silly games , i know that i'm a fine one to talk as i've done it in the past myself but i think it all needs to stop now please.
so LAWay if you are deadpool in disguise please just stay as deadpool and not use multipul accounts , oh and if robert is bob diamond - likewise + hel if you are one of three - same goes for you please stop. could someone from eaglemoss investigations do some investigating into this matter please ?

p.s : LAWay

so you are totally against mega specials + specials ?

so you don't want to see the following characters included then ?

or strong guy , modok , wendigo
man ape , onslaught , terrax
high evolutionary , madame web
etc etc

You're right, Mad Thinker, you are a fine one to talk.

Weren't you the guy who accused Sonic Scream and Banshee of being one and the same? And weren't you the guy who has had at least three aliases on here? And weren't you the guy who missed the ironic point of my "accusations"?

LAWay said...

@Madthinker

No, I aint against MEGA specials (I like using capitals), the list you suggested sounds awesome and I want them all.

I am just saying that EM shouldnt feel pressured to deliver on a MEGA special every year and could go with like a 4 way multipack or something instead. Equally MEGA, but in a different way.

And no, I am not Deadpool or any other identity. I have only started using my blog recently the beginning of this year as I have been updating it with a drawing a day, and just thought I would watch other blogs and this one came to mind. I dont know how long you all have been blogging, but rest assured I am not Deadpool.

The guy wants Kate Bishop for the Young Avengers representative, which is crazy talk. Patriot first, then Hulkling, then Wiccan...I'd even settle for stature and iron lad before her.

Unlike some bloggers, my profile is open, and not a hint of deadpool on there. It could all be an elaborate cover up, but I am more spider-man than deadpool folks. ;)

@LAway: I'm sorry you don't take my suggestion seriously, but with all due respect--It doesn't bother me in the slightest that you don't, since it wasn't you I was pitching the suggestion to.

I personally only own figures of characters I really like and see little point in mass collecting them if I don't enjoy the character. How many figures I own shouldn't be a qualification for making a suggestion. The Cuckoos are collectively one of my favorite characters, and I see nothing wrong with at least suggesting them; If they were indeed created, that would be one more figure/set of figures I own. lol

To answer your question though, I am indeed a late collector, and I do plan on owning more, just not all at once. =)

@LAway: Regardless if you were joking, it was a bit rude. I was never upset or anything though, so it's all cool. I'm just being honest and letting you know that you should try to better formulate your jokes. Otherwise, you do have good opinions every now and again. =)

Putting that aside, I do intend on keeping up with this collection for sure, so you don't have to worry about that! This is honestly the most affordable way to collect Marvel merchandise and have good quality figurines made. As far as a figure of the Cuckoos go, I love the team's work on a lot of their figures, so I'm sure I would love the Cuckoos as well if they made them.
