Sorry it's been awhile since I last updated. (Various conspiring factors that I won't bore you with!).
Anyway I thought I'd (re)preview some of the upcoming issues...
The beautiful yet controversial Gamora. Went with this cover as it was the best full page shot of her available (yes I know she is being controlled by the Phalanx in this pic, but c'mon it's amazing! and yes I know a lot of you wanted her figurine in this costume, but having just read through all of her comic appearances I feel I made the right decision - just.
Robert Atkins supplies the goods for Stingray...
Andie Tong 'heralds' a new era of greatness... (geddit?)
Dene Mason's Spidey 2099 gets the full turnaround treatment...
Hopefully I'll return sooner than later.

I didn't think of picking Swordsman and Mantis for The double pack since Swordsman was placed in the regular production,but I totally agree that this was one big miss of an opportunity,It would've been great. Enchantress and Executioner was another big miss,but at least they both made it in.

Favourite mega special...mine has to be MODOK, he's marvellous! Galactus just missed out on the first slot.
Least favourite mega special...the Watcher. He's still great but I had to choose one.
Favourite double pack...Northstar and Aurora. I really love them and mine didn't come with the webbed fingers and other problems some people had with theirs.
Least favourite double pack...Ka-Zar and Zabu. I actually like the Zabu figurine but Ka-Zar was the let down for me.
Personally I would have liked Swordsman to have come in a double pack with Mantis instead of him being released as a regular figurine. There wasn't really any other double packs I wanted, though I was always hopeful for just one triple pack containing the Warriors Three but it seems that will never happen now :(
Favourite special...so many to choose from and so many great figurines! I'm gonna say Kingpin though. I feel the figurine captures the Kingpin's personality perfectly.
Least favourite special...that would be the Destroyer. I felt that special slot could have been used for a better character and the Destroyer himself should of been a regular figurine instead of him standing on a fallen soldier.
I would easily have swapped Destroyer for Onslaught. For years I have wanted to see him made into a figurine as I think it would look fantastic! Even seeing his name in one of the old leaflets that we got made me even more hopeful. But again, it didn't happen so I can only dream of what could of been...

Everyone wondering why on Spider 2099 should look to read Superior Spider-Man, then new book after Amazing Spider-Man ends. With him taking over for Peter, this lead will be nice to see.

The missed oppertunities in this collection still baffle me.
Bagman, that drawing of Heimdall is very nice but I think he looks too fancy, too fantasy. Personally I prefer Heimdall to look more mysterious and menacing, with face immersed in darkness, like in Jacadoo's custom for example. I do think he should have been in the CMFC though. I would have preferred him over Skurge. Heimdall is such a fantastic character.
Hey Blake, yep i totally agree Heimdall should be a lot more mysterious, i just relly like the artwork, there seems to be three more of Asgardians that i've seen
on the net.

Yes Bagman there were truly many missed opportunities for Asgardian characters and many other Marvel branches as well. We can only hope that EM will do a follow up collection in the very near future.
I don't know if it's the Asgardian loving side of me that's talking,but it semms to me that all the Asgardian figurines that were done for this collection are amoung the best of the crop.Even Thor and Loki whom were made at an early stage of this series. I personally would have preffered a more classic look for Balder and Sif,but even so the quality of the sculpts in thierselves are very well done(IMO). Would have loved to had Heimdall,Hogun,Fandral,Karnilla,Volstagg,Tyr,Ulik,Mangog,Destroyer,Surtur,Ymir,and Thunderstrike included,along with a couple of Olypians like Zeus,Venus and Pluto just for good measure.
Favorite Mega Special : Fin Fang Foom though I very much like Galactus, Blob, MODOK & Watcher. Though I am not a fan of mojo I have to admit they did an excellent job of bringing him to lead life. Wish they did DRAGONMAN Mega Special.
Favorite Double Pack : Sasquatch & Puck by far
Wish they had done a Cobra & Mr. Hyde double pack.
Favorite Special : Kingpin by far followed by Odin though Skurge looks to be an excellent one to come. Really wish they had done Attuma & Titanium Man Specials.
Just a post to let you all know...the Gamora figurine is beautiful! Everything about her is stunning! The pose, the paint job, even the fishnets were spot on...at least on my figurine they were. I know some of you are worried about them after the previous attempts on fishnets on figurines (like Typhoid Mary) but I really hope that you all get Gamora in the same great standard that mine came in!

yes , the gamora figurine looks a real beauty , shame that my local comic shop only has 2 and they both have busted hands. Oh well , on a higher note , I'm picking up a giant man special tomorrow :)

hello every one i need some advice i stupidly chucked all the boxes for the standered figurines and know im moving and have not got the first clue as to how to protect them during the move without causing damage all suggestions greatfully recived
